Guests came together in an intimate setting to celebrate and support the mission of the Verma Foundation: to make and give real hair cap wigs to cancer patients. More than 100 guests watched as cancer survivors were escorted down the red carpet runway in cap wigs, fashion by A Line Boutique and Concord Custom Tailors and jewelry by Kendra Scott. Their hair and makeup were styled by The Look Salon and Med Spa.
Our youngest model was 8 years old, Clara Chi-Hasselbach. She is currently battling leukemia at Children’s Hospital Colorado. In addition to co-founder and TV News Anchor Natasha Verma, there were a number of celebrities in attendance:
9NEWS Personalities Ed Greene, Darius Johnson, Jon Glasgow and Chris Bianchi. Colorado Rapids Assistance and Goalkeeping Coach Chris Sharpe and Team USA Paralympian Lacey Henderson. The fashion show was emceed by Daily Blast Live Host and Managing Editor Sam Schacher.
