The Verma Foundation is a national registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to giving high-quality cap wigs to cancer patients suffering from hair loss.
The Verma family created the foundation out of love in 2013 to help, inspire, empower and give hope to those who are suffering. In 2017, our co-founder Natasha Verma was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma at 23. We came together as a family and turned our negative into a positive. Through our “Put A Cap On Cancer” program, we create custom high-quality cap wigs at no cost for women and children fighting cancer and dealing with the emotional side effect of hair loss.
Women battling cancer find hair loss to be one of the most devastating side effect of chemotherapy. Most wigs are ill-fitting, itchy and expensive so we offer the ideal solution – a cap attached to 100% human hair. We are committed to helping people battling cancer maintain a sense of normalcy, dignity and privacy during treatment. Meet the people who are living proof of our mission.
