Provide Support To Patients

Hair loss can add an enormous emotional strain on a patient already struggling physically from cancer treatment. Wigs made from human hair can range in cost from $700 to $5000 and are typically not covered by insurance. On top of amounting hospital bills, the cost of a wig is the last thing a cancer patient can pay for.

The Verma Foundation is honored to ease the emotional pain of hair loss by providing high-quality cap wigs made from human hair – completely free of cost – to women and children receiving treatment across the country.

We invite you to join our network of over 200 hospitals that connects us with women and children in need of this emotional assistance. Download the flyers below to give to your patients, health care professionals or display in hospital rooms.

What we provide, free of charge

  • One high-quality cap wig that is undetectable, comfortable and made from 100% human hair. The inside of the cap wig is lined with an incredibly soft material that comforts the head.
  • We provide personal assistance during and after the cap wig order process. Patients can customize the cap color, hair color and hair length. We make them in children and adult sizes.
  • Each cap wig is completely free for patients. We only ask for a wig/cranial prescription or official letter from the oncologist.

If you have any questions or would like to request a speaker on behalf of the Verma Foundation to talk to your oncology staff about our services, please email us at contact@vermafoundation.org or call 512-582-0171.
